Walk up registrations are accepted on the day of the event, starting at 7:45am at 6800 Pembroke Dr, Reno, NV 89502

Fishing Derby TODAY, June 22, 2024 at

Rosewood Nature Study Area

Fishing begins at 8am. 

Fish caught prior to 8am cannot be counted towards Derby weigh-ins.

Fishing ends at 12pm and you must be in the weigh-in line by 12pm. 

Winners will be announced around 12:15pm near the Nature Center. 

A grand prize will be given for most carp caught in an

adult category and children's category.

We also have trophies for longest and heaviest and shortest carp in both adults and children's categories.

 

Snacks, raffle tickets, shirts and more will be available for purchase to help support the derby and the Rosewood Nature Study Area.

No dogs (except service animals) allowed at this event.

7:30am - Check-in Begins

8am - Derby Begins and Fishing Opens

8am-12pm - Fish Weigh-ins

12pm - Fishing Concludes

12:15-12:30pm - Fishing Awards, Raffle Winners

 

Please remember to have a Nevada fishing license

current on the day of the event for adults and children over 12.
